All Notices

This successful addition to our general publicity and community information is now in its third month. Linda Kirby Organ reminds members of the congregation to lift additional copies from the church for those you know who cannot get to church and those who were thinking about coming to church. Please feel free to pass the newsletter to your friends and acquaintances so that they can read about our activities. Linda would also like to hear from anyone with items of interest to be published in our Parish Newsletter and the Lauderdale News; by the end of February please.

See left hand menu for download of the February edition.

Please let Rev, Griggs know of any thoughts you may have for Holy Week and activities associated with Easter. The Publicity Team hopes that our Easter Programme may be drafted by early March so that detail can be included in the Lauderdale News and the March Edition of the Parish Newsletter.

Sincere appreciation is expressed to those from Lauder and Oxton who so kindly donated goods to be shipped from Melrose and Peebles Presbytery to Malawi in April. All Lauderdale donations have been delivered to the pick-up point in Walkerburn. In addition, Channelkirk and Lauder Church has contributed £500 from the Burns Support, towards the cost of transporting the goods. Thank you.

The November edition of the Prayer Diary, as collated by Isobel Petrie, is now available at the entrance to the church. Isobel invites all members to suggest prayers in general or for a specific occasion/person. Isobel would also welcome the inclusion of prayers which you would like to add to the diary in any particular month. Please contact Isobel. The Prayer Box is in the front porch of the church for all requests; these are read by the Minister, Isobel Petrie and the prayer group.  A Prayer Meeting is held on Thursdays in the Church Centre from   1-2pm, all welcome.
